7 deadly sins project

The idea for this project came form the 7 deadly sins contest, in which you could submit your art interpretations of one or all of the sins-Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, and Wrath.

A cool artist

An artist i like is Ryan Mclennan. I like how his art is really surreal and abstract, but also realistic-it makes me think of some kind alternate reality. I also like how he studies the animals so he can get to know their natural behavior before he changes it in his paintings. He also only paints animals from North America, because they are animals he can witness in real life. What i liked about the interview was Ryan's outlook on life/art, and how cool and unusual it was.


"I could paint a kangaroo, but it would possibly interact with a dingo, what do I know about dingoes? Once I learn about the dingo, then I should study a platypus? That's the way it flows, they become dependant on each other, and they are connected. I've started with the animals here and I've still got a ton of work to do."
